የዕለቱ ግጻዌ ምንባባት
1ኛ ወደ ቆሮንቶስ ሰዎች 7 : 32 -
ነገር ግን ያለ አሳብ ልትኖሩ እወዳለሁ። ያላገባው ጌታን እንዴት ደስ እንዲያሰኘው የጌታን ነገር ያስባል፤ ያገባው ግን ሚስቱን እንዴት ደስ እንዲያሰኛት የዓለምን ነገር ያስባል፥ ልቡም ተከፍሎአል። ያልተጋባች ሴትና ድንግል በሥጋም በነፍስም እንዲቀደሱ የጌታን ነገር ያስባሉ፤ የተጋባች ግን ባልዋን እንዴት ደስ እንድታሰኘው የዓለምን ነገር ታስባለች። ይህንም ለራሳችሁ ጥቅም እላለሁ፤ በአገባብ እንድትኖሩ ሳትባክኑም በጌታ እንድትጸኑ ነው እንጂ ላጠምዳችሁ ብዬ አይደለም። ዳሩ ግን ማግባት ወደሚገባው ዕድሜ በደረሰ ጊዜ ስለ ድንግልናው ያፈረ ሰው ቢኖር፥ የወደደውን ያድርግ፤ ኃጢአት የለበትም፤ ይጋቡ። ሳይናወጥ በልቡ የጸና ግን ግድ የለበትም፥ የወደደውን እንዲያደርግ ተፈቅዶለታል፤ ድንግልናውንም በልቡ ይጠብቅ ዘንድ ቢጸና፥ መልካም አደረገ። እንዲሁም ድንግልን ያገባ መልካም አደረገ ያላገባም የተሻለ አደረገ። ሴት ባልዋ በሕይወት ሳለ የታሰረች ናት፤ ባልዋ ቢሞት ግን በጌታ ይሁን እንጂ የወደደችውን ልታገባ ነጻነት አላት። እንደ ምክሬ ግን እንዳለች ብትኖር ደስተኛ ናት፤ እኔም ደግሞ የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ በእኔ ያለ ይመስለኛል።
1ኛ የጴጥሮስ መልእክት 3 : 1 - 5
እንዲሁም፥ እናንተ ሚስቶች ሆይ፥ ከባሎቻችሁ አንዳንዱ ለትምህርት የማይታዘዙ ቢኖሩ፥ በፍርሃት ያለውን ንጹሑን ኑሮአችሁን እየተመለከቱ ያለ ትምህርት በሚስቶቻቸው ኑሮ እንዲገኙ ተገዙላቸው። ለእናንተም ጠጕርን በመሸረብና ወርቅን በማንጠልጠል ወይም ልብስን በመጎናጸፍ በውጭ የሆነ ሽልማት አይሁንላችሁ፥ ነገር ግን በእግዚአብሔር ፊት ዋጋው እጅግ የከበረ የዋህና ዝግተኛ መንፈስ ያለውን የማይጠፋውን ልብስ ለብሶ የተሰወረ የልብ ሰው ይሁንላችሁ። እንዲህ በቀድሞ ዘመን በእግዚአብሔር ተስፋ ያደረጉት ቅዱሳት ሴቶች ደግሞ ለባሎቻቸው ሲገዙ ተሸልመው ነበርና፤
የሐዋርያት ሥራ 17 : 10 - 13
ወዲያውም ወንድሞች ጳውሎስንና ሲላስን በሌሊት ወደ ቤርያ ሰደዱአቸው፥ በደረሱም ጊዜ ወደ አይሁድ ምኵራብ ገቡ፤ እነዚህም በተሰሎንቄ ከሚኖሩት ይልቅ ልበ ሰፊዎች ነበሩና፡— ነገሩ እንደዚሁ ይሆንን? ብለው ዕለት ዕለት መጻሕፍትን እየመረመሩ ቃሉን በሙሉ ፈቃድ ተቀበሉ። ስለዚህም ከእነርሱ ብዙ፥ ከግሪኮችም የከበሩት ሴቶችና ወንዶች ጥቂት ያይደሉ፥ አመኑ። በተሰሎንቄ ያሉት አይሁድ ግን ጳውሎስ በቤርያ ደግሞ የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል እንደ ሰበከ ባወቁ ጊዜ፥ ወደዚያው ደግሞ መጡና ሕዝቡን አወኩ።
መዝሙረ ዳዊት 102 : 14 - 15
ፍጥረታችንን እርሱ ያውቃልና፤ አቤቱ፥ እኛ አፈር እንደ ሆንን አስብ። ሰውስ ዘመኑ እንደ ሣር ነው፤ እንደ ዱር አበባ እንዲሁ ያብባል፤
የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 7 : 25 -
ዝናብም ወረደ ጎርፍም መጣ ነፋስም ነፈሰ ያንም ቤት ገፋው፥ በዓለት ላይም ስለ ተመሠረተ አልወደቀም። ይህንም ቃሌን ሰምቶ የማያደርገው ሰው ሁሉ ቤቱን በአሸዋ ላይ የሠራ ሰነፍ ሰውን ይመስላል። ዝናብም ወረደ ጎርፍም መጣ ነፋስም ነፈሰ ያንም ቤት መታው፥ ወደቀም፥ አወዳደቁም ታላቅ ሆነ። ኢየሱስም ይህን ነገር በጨረሰ ጊዜ ሕዝቡ በትምህርቱ ተገረሙ፤ እንደ ጻፎቻቸው ሳይሆን እንደ ባለ ሥልጣን ያስተምራቸው ነበርና።

He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. 1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. 13 But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.
